Where did the name Sappymoosetree come from?
I can honestly say I really don't know. I have a hard time deciding on anything so I literally picked the first 3 words that came to my mind when I decided I needed a name.

Yup! I work for Legoland building fancy Lego models during the day then spend my evenings creating magical monsters and sock animals just for you guys!

What is up with the Bacon?
Bacon was my ill attempt at rebellion. I enjoy making disturbing things and thought it would be gross, but then ended up being something incredibly cute and caught on faster than I ever thought it could.

How did you start?
It started with an adventure to target to see if I could find a pair of socks that looked like they would make a good sock monkey. I did not know how to sew so I self taught by looking up directions online. The first time I used a sewing machine was to make Buttons the 15 foot tall sock monkey.

Who is that strange monkey on some of the pages?
That is Scooter the Redheel sock monkey. He is also
the first real red heel sock monkey I ever made.
